Balu, surprised/alarmed/startled by Kuttan's sudden appearance/loud noise/strange behavior, threw Kuttan off with his tail/kicked Kuttan away/looked at Kuttan angrily. Kuttan, though a little scared/slightly hurt/unfazed, didn’t give up/kept playing/continued to tease the horse.
